Kristi enjoys working with people of all ages and in all stages of life, including adults, teenagers, and couples. She is interested in supporting those who are struggling with trauma, depression, questions of self-identity, anxiety, and relationships, as well as a variety of other life challenges. She has experience working with adolescents and adults with suicidal ideation and self-harm tendencies, and those who have had a history of trauma and abuse. She has also been trained in Crisis Intervention and is interested in working with first responders. Kristi uses person-centered and Existential approaches along with many therapy techniques, depending on the needs of her clients. These techniques include ACT and DBT. Kristi received her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Weber State University and her Masters in Counseling from Idaho State University.

Kristi believes that all people have a unique and interesting story that deserves to be heard and that they all struggle at times with their mental health. Sometimes they need assistance as they navigate those issues and counseling can be that extra help for many individuals. She hopes that her practice can be a safe place for her clients to explore their challenges and wishes to walk with them on their journey toward a more meaningful and balanced life.
