Taylor Allen graduated with her Master’s degree in Social Work from Western New Mexico University in 2023. Before attending her graduate program, Taylor worked in sexual health education and sexual violence prevention and program development for public schools. She enjoys working with older children, teenagers, and adults and has experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, and LGBTQIA+ related issues. Taylor applies a trauma informed lens and understands that many systems influence the life experience of each person. Taylor utilizes a variety of modalities like CBT, ACT, and IFS to ensure the best practice for her clients.
Taylor believes in the importance of advocacy at all levels and that every struggle should be met with empathy. Clients should have the opportunity to share their voices and experiences that make all of us unique individuals. Clients have the rightful opportunity to improve their quality of life and Taylor wants to support them on their journey.
Taylor recently moved back to the area after living in western Washington and northern Idaho for ten years. She is excited to reconnect with the community she grew up in.
