Amber grew up in North Carolina before moving to the Boston area, where she completed her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. She also holds a certificate in School Adjustment Counseling. While in Boston, she worked in various school settings, providing therapy and support to students in the public school system. Amber moved to Idaho Falls in the summer of 2015 and started working as a counselor the following fall. She joined Creekside Counseling in the fall of 2024.
Amber works with clients of all ages, but she specializes in helping women who are navigating depression, anxiety, and related challenges—as well as providing therapeutic
support for children. She utilizes a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Emotion Regulation Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy, to help her clients lead more fulfilling and hopeful lives.Outside the office, Amber enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and twin boys. Whether hiking, skiing, or relaxing by the water, she embraces nature and family life with enthusiasm and joy.
