Masters of Marital Couple and Family Counseling

Annie Stermer is a Licensed Clinical Processional Counselor. She received her Bachelor’s degree at Brigham Young University and her Masters of Marital Couple and Family Counseling from Idaho State University. She works with both individuals and couples. She is also skilled in play therapy as a treatment modality for children and loves working with teens.
Annie has extensive experience helping individuals with marriage counseling, depression, anxiety, PTSD and trauma recovery, grief and loss, pain management, divorce recovery, eating disorders, parent education, anger management, domestic violence and abuse.
Annie is trained in EMDR, Trauma-Focused CBT, Mindfulness and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy

Annie believes that optimal mental health and happiness is experienced as we build and nurture successful interpersonal relationships. As a counselor, her goal is to help couples and families communicate so that all are heard, understood and respected in an empathic environment that fosters healing and growth.
In addition to her passion for counseling, Annie loves spending time with her husband and their eight children and five grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, reading, scrapbooking and four wheeling.
