Jill Weadick, LCPC

Master of Education in Counseling

Jill has been a professional counselor since 1999, and has extensive experience in the field of mental health services. She works with a variety of clients including adults, couples, and children. Jill has been a sought-after trainer for Idaho State University, teaching her colleagues about mindfulness practices, stress-relief skills, play therapy, sand-play therapy, and art therapy.

Jill believes the most effective therapy techniques involve these key ideas: having a trusted relationship with your therapist, emotional expression and processing, changing your thinking, and practicing stress-relief skills. These are the main techniques she uses with clients because she finds this process to be extremely effective in resolving life's struggles including anxiety, depression, grief & loss, and many other problems. No matter what clients are going through, there is always a way to find healing and inner strength.

Jill is married with two beautiful children and lives in Idaho Falls. She was raised in southeastern Idaho and her family homesteaded in this area five generations ago. Her favorite hobbies are downhill skiing, jet-skiing, camping, watching her husband and kids fish, cooking (mostly crock-pot meals for crowds), interior decorating, and reading.
