Carrie Bean, LPC

Master of Counseling

Carrie was raised in Southeast Idaho. She is a graduate of Idaho State University Department of Counseling. She works predominantly with adults and sees an assortment of clients. Specifically, she treats individuals for depression, anxiety, grief and loss, career transitions, sexual orientation issues, and life transitions. With additional degrees in health education and dental hygiene, she as been working for 25 years in helping individuals achieve optimal health and wellness.

Carrie agrees life can be difficult. It is the negotiation through challenges that makes the difference. Her approach to counseling stems from foundational belief that happiness comes through finding balance. Searching brings clarity; deeper understanding brings deeper meaning to life. She believes in the human potential for greatness; change takes place when there is a directional path for authenticity.

She values her family and friends and considers it a privilege to be the oldest of eight siblings. She enjoys running, hiking, and snowboarding in the backcountry.  Her favorite pastime is playing old-time/bluegrass music.
